Former Uganda Cranes and SC Villa legend Andrew ‘Fimbo’ Mukasa’s cry for help as he continues on his long road to recovery is headed to a fruitful result. Latest from the state house corners reveal that the President, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni wants to meet the legend.
This comes after Museveni hitting on Fimbo’s situation in his 6th August letter to the nation. The meeting is scheduled for this week and we are yet to confirm the exact day and venue.
Fimbo, is greatly known for his scoring exploits, with his 45-goal season in 1999 still yet to be broken. However, his career was greatly put to a dramatic and sad end because of his chronicle mental illness yet his popularity and achievements on the pitch failed to yield financial gains.
