Big Brother Naija (Lockdown Edition) just got concluded over the weekend on Sunday. The show that trended for the drama created by the housemates might have brought up a few ideas in the mind of Eriot Ouma Junior Ngira, a Ugandan Youth promoter and CEO OUMA Marketing Agency. Just like Big Brother Naija in Nigeria, Ouma wants Uganda to have its own version of the massively trending reality television show “ BIG BROTHER UGANDA “ and he’s set to make it happen.
“ I have been following the Big Brother Naija show which came to an end on Sunday. I have been in talks with Multi-Choice bosses, a mother company to DSTV and GO-TV to discuss a way forward on how to make #BBUganda happen. “ Ouma said. He adds that he has also met with the State minister for Tourism Hon Godfrey Kiwanda Suubi who is willing to support this baby reality TV show through the Ministry of Tourism and Uganda Government next year.
Even though this seems a dream far-fetched, Ouma believes BIG BROTHER UGANDA will be a success like the other versions of the reality show across the world. “ Through my talent managing skills am going to start up the Big Brother Uganda cause we have good talents here that need to reach out to the world there, Let us as Ugandans emulate this show for the best of our country. I am not waiting for foreigners to do this for us am starting the Big Brother Uganda come 2021 and I urge all the sponsors that would like to be part of this to reach out to us..Ouma said.
Also popularly known as Ouma Presents, Ouma comes with vast knowledge and experience in leveraging consultative selling strategies that build relationships across all target markets. He has deep knowledge of marketing campaign development and implementation of training programs.
He has previously worked on youth entertainment and empowerment projects like the Ollo Xperience where young people are given platform to showcase their talents and also restore hope in their lives in addition to Sexual Reproductive and Health Rights education and awareness.
