Jonathan Mcknistry screens local players!

The current North Irish football manager finally named his final squad against South Sudan a game that will be played in Nairobi given the poor facilities in South Sudan that wouldn’t meet CAF standards. It will be remembered also our very own Mandela National Stadium locally known as Namboole didn’t meet the standards too! So the National team will be hosting their games at St.Mary’s stadium in Kitende.

While naming his squad the head coach showed less interest in players who play within the native clubs here. With the whole squad totally being from foreign players.
Players like Okello Bwomono , Anthony Mubiru and Mukiibi make their debut on the National team.

The Cranes currently top group B with four points followed by Burkina Faso at the same points. The other countries in the group include Malawi and South Sudan.

The team is just six points away from qualification which is just two wins . The football game in the country has been on a steady improvement with the team appearing the last two AFCON. With the last memorable performance which saw the team reaching the round of 16 tier with Senegal.
