Netizens are over the moon after celebrated Tanzanian music star Nasibu Abdul Juma Issack, popularly known by his stage name Diamond Platnumz openly expressed his love and affection for ex-wife Zari Hassan.
Through his Instagram page, the singer confirmed that he still has a soft spot in his heart for the South Africa based Ugandan socialite, even years after parting ways. Diamond, who recently released a mega-hit featuring Koffi Olomide, shared a video of Zari and their daughter Tiffah jamming to the hit song dubbed Waah while in their kitchen in South Africa.
In the video, Tiffah is seen working on something on the kitchen counter as her mother shook her leg to Diamond’s Waah. While sharing the video, Diamond could not help but express his feelings by revealing how much he loves and values the two.
He said that Zari and Tiffah are his hearts, meaning he loves them to the core. “#WAAH from Roho za Mimi Princess Tiffah and Zari The Bosslady,” he captioned the video.
This comes barely a month after Zari, Tiffah, and the singer’s son Nillan visited him in Tanzania. Videos shared on social media captured an excited Diamond personally receiving them at the airport when they landed. When netizens spotted how ecstatic Diamond was after seeing his children for the first time in three years, they concluded that he could rethink his past flame with Zari.
However, Zari was quick to clarify that she was in Tanzania for the sake of the kids. She added that their father, Diamond, wanted to see them and spend some time with them.
“There is a whole lot of things happening on social media lakini for me I just brought the kids because their father wants to see them na hakuweza kukuja kwa sababu I think he got lots of things lined-up for him. He really wanted to see the kids. It’s been two years. We’re co-parenting and even if he got somebody, I can still come because it’s home for the kids regardless of what happened between us. A lot of people are saying we gotten back (but) no I’m just here for the kids,” she said.
Divulging further into the details of her publicized visit to Tanzania, Zari took a swipe at netizens who claimed that they were getting back with Diamond and maintained that they are just co-parenting. “There is one thing as Africans we don’t understand, hatuelewi what’s Co-parenting,” she added. Zari revealed that the kids had missed their father and grandmother and were eager to reunite after a long time.
“It was very good, but tiresome because if the Kids, I had missed the food, and I think for the Kids its Papa and Bibi, because they were eagerly waiting to get off the plane so that they can see them,” added Zari. Zari broke up with Diamond in 2017 during Valentine’s Day after he confessed that he had cheated on her with Tanzanian model Hamisa Mobetto.
