Police FC were the best team on the day as they put five past a newly promoted side Kitara FC at the Kavumba Recreation Ground in Wakiso. Ben Ocen was the man of the day as he put up a five star performance to clinch the Man Of the Match award after he netting a hattrick and assisting a goal in the game. Kitara looked to be on the back foot of every action of the game most especially after Ocen’s two first half goals since they were already in control. The other two goals of the Cops were scored by Ssozi Yousuf 76’ and Mahmoud Hassan 62’.

And into the the early game at Kabaka Kyabagu also in Wakiso, both Muhammad Shaban and Viane Ssekajugo marked their return to League action with one goal each. Shaban opened up the scoring in the 7th minute in a game where Vipers SC had most of the clear cut chances that forced the purple sharks goalkeeper Emukule Derrick into a number of saves but as it approached the 65th minute mark Viane’s strike canceled out Vipers’ edged lead to force a draw for Wakiso Giants. But most of the credit in this game went to Emukule Derrick and therefore he was awarded the Man Of The Match prize.

At the Arena of visions in Ndejje Bombo, Saidi Kyeyune helped URA clinch a late winner in the 92nd minute through a Brian Majwega cross after had also assisted Benjamin Nyakoojo for the first goal in the 31st minute to help level up matters. They were playing a SC Villa side that had gained momentum in their previous game where they had put 4 past the Ankole lions but in this one, things didn’t turn out as expected against a fierce Sam Ssimbwa side as they took the lead through that Derrick Ndahiiro penalty in the 16th minute. Saidi Kyeyune went home with the Man Of The Match award in this one.

Kefa Kisala’s UPDF FC at home through former Paidha Black Angels and Vipers SC striker Dickens Okwir completed a second half comeback to make maintain their 100 percent record start after he was brought in as a substitute and scored a brace in a space of two minutes. They had gone behind in the 39th minute after a Joseph Ssemujju penalty that beat Yusuf Wasswa but never recovered.
