SC VILLA HOST KCCA AS GADAFFI WAHAB GOES BACK TO PLAY AGAINST HIS FORMER EMPLOYERS.

The record winners of the Uganda Premier League are going to host the Kasasiro boys in Matchday 4 in Bombo today in a game that fans are usually exicited to attend but cannot in this current situation of COVID-19. SC Villa a club that last won the league way back in 2004 has been having a number of issues in the recent times both behind the scenes in their administration and on the pitch but seems to improving in both areas. Both these clubs share a total of 29 trophies among them with SC Villa having 16 and KCCA FC 13.

Back to the game, the home side has been on a great run since last season not until URA FC spoilt their vibe after a late winner from Saidi Kyeyune. SC Villa lost their last outing to KCCA FC last season after they had taken a lead but in these times if Edward Kaziba loses such a games it would cause a little spark in the Villa fans due to the fact that it is a rivalry derby. He said in him press conference that ‟We were disappointed with the previous result but we shift focus to the next game.” And added that ‟It will be tough against KCCA but the boys are ready and the target to win and try to close the gap early on.”

To the KCCA FC side, they seem to be the perfect team to win the League at the moment though it’s still so early to say that. They have played 3 games, 3 wins and 9 points which is the maximum, unfortunately they are going to be without skipper Moses Aliro who got off injured in their win over Mbarara City on Friday as well as Juma Balinya who played over 50 minutes in that game.
